Today's my birthday and I've put together a wish list. I want:
A Kindle. I know. It's awesome, isn't it? No, don't tell me. I don't want to know. As a matter of fact, tell me it's a worthless piece of junk. Except it isn't, is it? DON'T TELL ME!
A laptop. I want one. If I had a laptop my blog posts would be 100 times better, I'm sure of it. I would also be more motivated in getting my recipes and pictures organized. Paying bills and planning a budget would be so much easier. If I had a laptop, I could be a better wife, mother, daughter, sister, and blogger. And I could also watch over 70 episodes of ALF without ever getting out of bed.I want this patio. I have a covered front porch AND a covered back porch but it's not enough. I need more outdoor living space please. And a fire pit.
Okay, that's my "wants" but here's what I got:
It will do!
It will do!
Ah, no amount of money can buy that! So sweet.
ReplyDeleteAbout the Kindle, I want one so bad. The laptop, too. My hubs and I were just discussing that one the other day.

ReplyDeleteI saw the Kindle without reading, and thought for a split second that you got one!!
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday!
ReplyDeleteI have a laptop. It is old, but still working it's magic. I can spend all weekend in bed. :) Although I use the desktop for all my "stuff," the laptop is for play!
Have a great day!
Happy Birthday!!! I hope you have the best one yet and that you get your kindle :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday! I know it can't help you blog and pay bills and carry piles of books in your palm but that card is pretty stinkin' great!
ReplyDeleteWe got our laptop from the Dell Outlet and I love it (plus it was pretty reasonably priced).
Is there anyplace we can go to register for such things? (Come on! How cool would THAT be?)
ReplyDeleteBut the picture is truly priceless. Enjoy it.
Happy birthday!!!
Awww I love it! Happy Birthday!! I love your wish list, but like you, I'm trying hard to convince myself that the Kindle sucks. I love the feel of a book...certainly I wouldn't be happy without one. Right?
ReplyDeleteThat is so sweet.
ReplyDeleteI would also like a covered porch and outdoor living space. I loved ALF!!
I hope you had a great birthday.

ReplyDeleteHappy B-Day Ali, that patio is to die for!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday!!
ReplyDeleteThe Kindle seems very interesting, and I am sure having one would be nice, but I really like holding a real book in my hand. Maybe I am nuts!
The present you got is priceless. :-)
Sorry I'm late, but HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
ReplyDeleteI want a kindle too.. do you have an iphone or ipod? they have a kindle application now.. you can read kindle books on there... pretty cool.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday!!! Looks like you had a great one!
ReplyDeleteHappy Belated Birthday! You really DID get the best gift...
ReplyDeleteIf it becomes a possiblity - GET the Kindle. It's so worth it! I have both Kindle 1 and 2 - books don't even compare anymore.
That iPhone app? Not even the same. It's 'like' the Kindle and a friend went that route since she had an iPhone anyway, but has been seriously disappointed.
I soooo want a Kindle. I have heard great thing - wish everyone would tell me they suck instead.
