Generic Super Bowl Recap

Did you see Bruce Springsteen do the windmill arm move playing the guitar? Did you see him swing his guitar up over his head several times? Did you see how the pyrotechnics were in sync with the music? Did you see their little skit where a ref throws a flag at them for not leaving the field? Did you see how he was specifically playing just for little ol' me? How cool was that?

When WD and I go on trips I have to wait until he falls asleep until I can put my Springsteen cd in the cd player. He doesn't appreciate the Boss like I do.

So anyway...the game...um...well, when it started it was anyone's game to win. It was clear that the winner would be the team that stepped up and made the right plays. The team trailing at the half needed to make some big halftime adjustments and play the way that got them there. Really, it was their game to lose. But the other team gave 110 percent and God was on their side. Congratulations Super Bowl Champions!

  1. I've seen Bruce a couple of times (and fairly close to the stage too!) and there's few very people who can put on a show like he can. At almost 60, it's amazing how he works it. :)

  6. I skipped watching the 1/2 time show, but my hubs thought Bruce seemed a little winded. Maybe he's getting OLD? Or maybe that's just my husband pointing out someone is older than he is!

  7. Did you see the stage guy almost drop the Bosses guitar? Nice save dude!

  8. The half time show was entertaining, but what was with the crotch-first shot into the cameraman?! He was trying a bit too hard for me and I really don't think this will help boost his ratings any for his new album!
