We Are Definitely Related

A couple of days ago I was driving the boys home from school and somehow we got on the subject of air bags. I'm almost certain the line of questioning went like this:

"Is a B plus better than a B minus?"

"What percent is a D?"

"Did you get lots of A's when you were in the first grade?"

"What's an air bag?"

Kids really aren't that good at segues.

So I did my best explaining what an air bag is, its purpose, how it works, that sort of thing. And Little pup says, "Mommy? What if the air bag was a pie and it was filled with jelly?"

I must say, aside from the safety issues, I like the way this kid thinks.
