Goodbye First Grade

Today's the last day of school! I don't know who I'm more excited for--Big pup or myself. No more getting up early and having to do homework. Here's to a summer of going to the movies, playing in the pool, watching baseball and race cars, and lots of other fun activities. And somewhere between Chuck E. Cheese and the zoo I would like to take a nap, please.

  3. Ali, sounds like some great plans for summer! So glad you made it through the year! Ha ha!
It's not super hot here yet, so I'm going to take my girls out to the gardens and parks as much as possible. After that I'm looking for tot movies and parks with wading pools and water features!
    Have a great week!

  6. Sounds like an exciting summer. When you have 3 it's not as exciting to know the school year is over because you have so many NOT SO WONDERFUL things to look forward to! Arguing, tattling, raging fights........

  7. What a great comparison. He sure had grown quite a bit over the year.

We still have another three weeks of school left. I'm so looking forward to the brake. No more homework for me. Hahaha. I always complain about having to help with homework. I feel like I'm repeating school. Just why is it that a first grader needs to have homework? When do they have time to be a kid?
