A couple of weeks ago my sister, Angie, came to visit and I did something bad. Very bad.
I put candy bars in crescent rolls and baked them.
She had taken a week off from work and I was determined to make it a fun food filled week for her. On the menu was cheddar-bacon-apple sandwiches, blackberry brulee, and something from the local bbq joint. But I needed something else...something chocolate. Then I remembered this easy and quick recipe for candy crescents. It was the perfect, little, ooey, gooey, chocolatey snack. But I'm not going to tell you how many she ate though because I want her to come back.
Candy Crescents
mini candy bars (I used Snickers)
crescent rolls
powdered sugar
Roll out crescent rolls and separate at seams. Place candy bar on crescent and roll up according to package instructions. Place on cookie sheet and bake according to crescent roll directions. Dust with powdered sugar.
This sounds delish. I am going to try it soon.

Oh. My. That is such a great idea....YUM!!!
ReplyDeleteI remember making these once when I was in high school. We used 3 Musketeers.
ReplyDeleteThese look so yummy!

ReplyDeleteYummy and easy! My kind of recipe!
ReplyDeleteYou are just plain bad to post this when I have nothing in stock to make them with. Now I will have to check my coupons and put this on my list.
ReplyDeleteCarbs and sugar...awesome!
ReplyDeleteOMG! I have never heard of a recipe quite like this but it looks delicious. I think I may have to try it with plain Hershey's chocolate. Yum!
ReplyDeleteOH.
ReplyDeleteMY.
GOSH!
This sounds sooooooooooooooo good!
Why didn't someone tell everyone about this idea before now!!??!!? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteOh Yum! I can't wait to try that. My husband does something similar with already store made crescents, sliced open with Hershey's chocolate squares broken inside of them, melted in the microwave served with cut strawberries and whipped cream.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds dangerous!! I see additional poundage hitting my hips soon.
ReplyDeleteSo yummy sounding, thanks for sharing!
