Greek Freak

I'm sorry. I've tried to forget him but I can't. Seriously, I've tried to stop thinking about him but I just can't get him out of my mind. I'm forever drawn to him. And you, my readers, must suffer my obsession. So here it is. Another poem about Icarus. It is Landscape with the Fall of Icarus in the simple, clear language of William Carlos Williams.

  1. So he just described a painting and called it a poem? Just kidding, I liked it. Like the hearts in your banner. When I click on 2007, would it be too hard to have all the titles come up? Got a couple recipes the other day, so I just scrolled down till I saw the picture, no big deal.

  3. Notice how Nature takes center stage though. It makes us realize just how powerful and alive Nature is and makes us wonder, was it really Icarus' ambition that did him in or was it the sun and water (Nature) that destroyed him? Hmmmm.....

  4. Oh, and click on the label "Food" found at the bottom of a recipe post and everything should come up.
