Six years ago today, after 14 and a half hours of labor, 2 hours of pushing, a 3rd degree episiotomy, and with the assistance of forceps and an epidural, I gave birth to my first son. 8 lbs and 4 oz of perfection.
And my bladder has never been the same. Happy birthday, Big pup!
Big pup: I'm going to be six!
Me: Noooo, I don't want you to be six.
Big pup: Why not?
Me: Are you still going to let me kiss you when you're six?
Big pup: (laughing) Yes.
Me: Okay, you can be six.

What a hard long labour! You did all that work for us all, and especially you, WD, and Little Pup to enjoy and love!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to attending Big Pup's 6th Birthday!
Hello again! Deleted the first post because I forgot the Big Pup name and used his birth name! Well, once again, we had a great time at his birthday! You have 2 wonderful little boys and you have been a wonderful mother! It is easy to tell! Thank you for also helping to take care of McKenzie, as well as taking care of the food, all of us, and your boys! Tell WD that I really did enjoy going to the mud puddle on the back of the four wheeler! Hope you had a Happy Birthday on the 9th.
ReplyDeleteActually, my birthday wasn't that great. I started to come down with a cold and today it really hit the hardest. And my kitchen is still a mess. Ugh.
ReplyDeleteOh No! I wish you said I could help you clean it up now! Hope you get to feeling better soon. I think your father didn't feel very well either?
