Remember the last time I wrote a poem for Poetry Friday? It was called To My Husband and it mirrored the poetic stylings of William Carlos Williams. Well, today, in honor of Halloween I am trying my hand once again at writing poetry. It's a cinquain poem which was invented by Adelaide Crapsey in the early 1900's. It's made up of only 5 lines, with each line containing a certain amount of words (1, 2, 3, 4, 2) and syllables (2, 4, 6, 8, 2). Don't worry, you won't be tested on this. Enjoy!
