It seems like lately whenever I look over at Big pup he has his finger in his nose. I don't want to embarrass him by yelling, "Stop picking your nose!" so I'll usually say something like, "Do you need a Kleenex?" But he always says no and continues picking his nose. Apparently, 6 year olds don't take hints very well.
So when I caught him doing it the other day I said, "What are you doing?" And he said, "Pickin' boogers. It's my job."
He may not understand the meaning of subtlety, but he has a good work ethic.

ReplyDeleteToo funny! What a good worker you have there!! :-)
ReplyDeleteLOL! You should ask him next time if his brain itches. HAHAHAHA!
ReplyDeleteIf picking boogers is a job, then between my three kids we should be rolling in the money! HAHA!
That is too true. Monkey is only a year old so when she shoves her finger up he nose I am just happy she knows she has a nose!
ReplyDeleteFunny. No you have to get him to understand that he needs to see new employment!
ReplyDeleteLOL, great answer big pup, my littlest has been diggin' for gold quite a bit lately and loves to tell us about it!!
ReplyDeleteOh I am so ROTFLMAO!!!!
ReplyDeleteYou know Er never really picked her nose (that I saw anyway) but Em she picks and picks and picks all the time. Sometimes she has her finger so far up her nose I am wondering if she is actually touching her brain.
ROTFL!! The Kleenex offer was a good try Ali! :o)

ReplyDeleteToo funny! I use the "Do you need a Kleenex" line with my daughter. She always says No, too.
ReplyDeleteMy 17-month old just found the joy of picking her nose, but we made the mistake of laughing the first couple of times. Now, she does it all.the.time. to get a laugh.
