Bristol

I managed to watch only about an hour of the race yesterday, then I lost the tv to the Arkansas vs. Georgia game. And then I fell asleep. It was a much needed nap. We spent part of the weekend in Pine Bluff, attending a baby shower for Kristina and baby Alexis (due in May). We all had a great time but I ate entirely way too much cake. And pizza. And burgers. And cheese dip. And cookies. I told WD we will be eating vegetables all week to make up for this past weekend.

I also told WD that Elliott Sadler finished nineteenth in Tennessee yesterday. He thought I said ninth so he was disappointed when I corrected him. However, after last weeks last place finish, I was thrilled that he came in nineteenth. He's still at 20th in the standings.

Jeff Burton gets the win, Jamie McMurray gets the Red Lantern, Dale Jarrett finished 37th in his last race, and next week is Easter--no Nascar.

  1. Yes, I think it would be a good idea for all of us, to be on vegetables for the next week! I am sorry that Elliot only came 19th, and also sorry for Jamie McMurray getting the Red Lantern. I only manged to was part of the Bristol race too.

  2. Judy, please don't hide the cookies and chocolate when we come to visit, though, that's what makes going to gramma's house so special!
