WD was tased last week. Verdict? It hurt. A lot. He tends to curse when in excruciating pain but all he managed to get out was a weak, garbled "Motherffttthhrrr....motherffttthhrrr..." Poor WD. I felt sorry for him. Unlike 7 years ago when he had to be pepper sprayed. Back then I had no sympathy for him whatsoever. I was very pregnant with my first child and was facing the impending 14 1/2 hour ordeal of pushing a human being out of my body down there of all places. Nope. I didn't feel sorry for him at all.

Poor hubby, I don't think I could have taken being tasered. OUCH
ReplyDeleteWas he sore afterwards or does it just hurt for the moment?
Yowch. Poor guy! That's awful -- I'm sorry he had to go through that. Glad to know you were nice to him...this time. ;)
ReplyDeleteWow, the sacrifices to keep us safe! Admirable!
ReplyDeleteI can't even imagine how much that must have hurt. Tell him thanks for doing the job he does, it takes a special person to do that.
ReplyDeletewow tell him I hope he feels better, do they do that just so they know how it works? I still think giving birth is way worse, it has to be, I am still amazed that the head fits through!
ReplyDeleteLeAnn--It hurt just for the moment but he said it was the worst pain he's ever felt in his life.
ReplyDeleteMerrie--I think that asking him if he needed a change of underwear afterwards was very nice of me!
Jen--Oh these accolade are going to go straight to his head!
Jenn--I know I couldn't do it, that's for sure.
Kristen--Yep, they have to experience first hand what it's like before they can carry one. And if the baby's head doesn't fit they MAKE it fit! Ouch. Definitely worse!
Just stoppin over to let you know taht I put you on my blog roll. Hope you'll add me too:) Keep in touch when you can. Have a great week. Robin
ReplyDeleteyikes! was it for training?
ReplyDeletei remember when i had a couple guys that wanted to be tased ON PURPOSE! o.O
"Don't tase me, bro!"
ReplyDeleteFunny title- "shocking news". LOL.
OOOOOH, I hate it when one of my children, or grandchildren get hurt!! I had to call the Sheriff's K-9 out to the house the other day because a dog got run over across the road from us. I have never seen a taser gun, so I asked him if he had 2 guns, so he pulled out the taser and showed me.That electric bolt looked very powerful, and painful!
ReplyDeleteOUCH......to being tazered, pepper sprayed, and giving birth! :)
ReplyDeleteOUCH that is like cruel and unusual punishment!!
ReplyDeleteHe looks very smart in his uniform...I do love a man in uniform (my hubby in his of course) hehe
That would stink! I wouldn't want to do that! My hubby is a drill seargent in the Army so he's been through the gas chamber numberous times where they have to take their masks off in there and UGH... the stories I hear of people coming out of there is definately something I don't want to ever do!
ReplyDeleteSo, I'm new here and I'm going to take a wild guess that your Hubby is a police officer as opposed to a: 1.mean drunk 2.bank robber
ReplyDelete3.protester at the RNC...
Ugh that sounds horrible! You know, I am a Realtor and I carry a little canister of pepper spray on my key chain. My 8 year old picked it up one night and sprayed it right in her face! I had left my keys on her bed, not thinking, to run after the hamster who had gotten loose. She thought it was perfume. We had to vacate the house for a couple hours, hamsters and all!
ReplyDeleteEeeee. Nt what I would want to happen to me. My brother has had a lot of weird things done to him as well... like being drown so they aren't scared during underwater combat. Um hello?!? I would be scared during any combat thank you very much!
ReplyDeletePS: He is quite the looker in his uniform :)
