One Of Those

It's soccer season! This is Big pup's first year playing soccer and so far he likes it. They had their first game this past Saturday and they lost. Although I don't think any of the kids realized it. Big pup had fun but like in T-ball, he's just not that competitive or aggressive.

As we drove home after the game WD turned to me and said, "Looks like you're a Soccer Mom now, huh?" Wha? Okay, so I may be married, white, middle-class, with 2.7 children and 2.3 dogs and cart my kids around in my mini-van back and forth to school and various activities but.....oh, who am I kidding, I am a Soccer Mom. But I'm determined to be a cool Soccer Mom. No boring bananas and vitamin water here. I've got snack duty for the next game and I'm bringing the good stuff:

  2. Hey Soccer Mom! Please don't believe the hype - Soccer moms come in all colors. Trust me I know - my girlfriends cart their children all over God's creation for games. Enjoy the season and bringing the snacks. Can't forget the snacks!

  3. Rock on, soccer mom! I am also of the DingDong variety...both mentally and in soccer snacks. Do rice krispie treats (store bought of course) count as health food?

  5. Being a soccer Mum is so cool! I had 2 girls and a boy, but no minivan!:o( So, I was a hockey Mum for the girls, and a soccer Mum for my son!! It was all good! I also took the snacks to the game! In those days though, the only choices were orange slices, or apple slices, and drinks!!
