A couple of weeks ago I mentioned that Elliott Sadler needed top 10 finishes here on out to make the Chase. NOT top 40.
He had another disappointing race yesterday at Pocono Raceway. He finished 34th and is holding steady in the points standings at 28th. From lap 86 to lap 109 I was a very happy camper, though. Elliott led the race during those laps, giving him an extra 5 points. And did you notice how he and Tony Stewart were running first and second for a while and Tony "escaped" unscathed? Yeah, that's because Elliott has accidently got into Tony only twice in the history of Nascar. Whatever. Tony will manage to find something else to complain about.
And here's a strange little tidbit for you. Big pup has become a Jeff Gordon fan. You see, Big pup LOVES Thomas the Tank Engine and his favorite train is Gordon sooooooooo.....he's decided to root for Jeff Gordon from now on. Strange.
Kasey Kahne gets the win, wonderboy Kyle Busch gets the red lantern, and we're in Michigan next Sunday for Father's Day.

ReplyDeletemy husband is a huge race fan and actually goes sometimes and of course we have to endure speed channel on cable. I am out numbered as my 2.5 year old likes it to.
